Vestidos para votar

El diario El País saca a votación popular la elección de los vestidos femeninos más representativos de los últimos cien años, con 65 donde elegir y donde no pueden faltar los modelos de Lo que el viento se llevó; aunque, eso sí, el periódico nos deja con la duda de si debemos votar las creaciones de Walter Plunkett o las versiones realizadas por Bob Mackie en la inolvidable versión cómica producida para la TV.

Arthur Tovey, doble de Leslie Howard

Arthur Tovey nació el 14 de noviembre de 1904 y debutó ante las cámaras en 1924, para comenzar una larga carrera donde predominó el hecho de no llegar a aparecer en los créditos.
En GWTW le correspondió doblar a Leslie Howard en el papel de Ashley Wilkes.

Además de ejercer como actor, Arthur formó parte del Musicians Local 47 y el Screen Actors Guild, y también sirvió en el Ejército durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. El final le llegó en octubre de 2000, tras haber participado en películas como A Night in Casablanca (Una noche en Casablanca, 1946), The Paradine Case (El proceso Paradine, 1947), Adam's Rib (La costilla de Adán, 1949), A Place in the Sun (Un lugar en el sol, 1951), The Bad and the Beautiful (Cautivos del mal, 1952)...

John Kobal consultó a críticos, directores, guionistas, técnicos y estudiosos de más de 20 países para que escogieran las que consideraban las 10 mejores películas. Con sus respuestas confeccionó la lista, publicada en 1988, y que comienza con estos títulos:
